“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4
We believe that our children are a vital part of our congregation and welcome them into our faith and worship. Our Youth Group for middle and high school-aged youth meets twice monthly. Recent activities include hosting an outdoor work day at the church, a BBQ, Bonfire, Drum Circle evening and putting together kits to help our neighbors in need, and to gift the children of our community at the annual Milford Holiday Stroll. Youth meetings are listed on the church calendar.
Sunday School is offered to children two years through 5th grade on Sunday mornings during the worship hour. Kids worship with their parents in the sanctuary at the beginning of the service, and then are invited to their classroom following the “Youth Moment.”
Our young people are full participants in the ministry and mission of FPCM, serving in a variety of ways including videography each Sunday (we would be lost without them!), as lay readers, hand-bell ringers, food servers at church meals, kindness rock painters, and serving on the Board of Deacons, to name but a few. We value and appreciate each and every congregant God has given us–from the youngest to the oldest.
